The Open2x Project Launched
What is Open2x, it’s not a game or an emulator, it's a new open source project of course.
- It has taken a long time to pull together all the bits and line everything up.
- It is very centred around helping the community get the very best out of the GP2X handheld.
- We would love to snare some talented coders to help ;-).

I think Linux will be replaced by a smaller ,mo
powerful truly open OpSys .
It will "upgrade" in 4
seconds , for it will replace everything you thought was essential .
The bootloader , the files
system , every thing will
be replaced by a more structured HLL,OpSys .
Most handy will be the
2nd stage bootloader (ARM
9 has a 1st BL in NOR-flash.
It will asm/dis_asm opcodes , launch apps , dump
SDARM .. No need to mod 2nd booter from a host PC !
Unlike Linux , there will
be no need for docs .
I am hooking 100GB HDD
to GP2X .
